Our Hearts

We are Nathan and Jenny, college sweethearts who have been married since 2004.
We welcomed our son Tedy through adoption in Spring of 2012.

We have always felt that there is a calling to parenthood, a gracious ability to be a daily example and love without condition. We are SO blessed to have been parents over the past three years and still feel the call, we have room in our family, we have love in our hearts for another little life. It feels like someone is missing as we sit around our dinner table. So we wanted to let you know what we've been thinking and praying about:
We would love to adopt again.

It's not a decision we have come to quickly or one we take lightly. We know the loss, the uncertainty of where adoption starts. And we have felt the beauty and soaring love of welcoming new life into our family.

So, led by peace and covered in prayer, we begin down this road. We feel very blessed with the family, friends, and community of faith God has given us
and can't wait to share our lives and all our love with a new little one.

A Day in Our Life

Nathan and Tedy get up first and snuggle with a TV show.

When Jenny gets up she and Tedy have breakfast.
Nathan goes for a run and then goes next door to work at the church.

Jenny and Tedy do yoga and play until Nathan comes home for lunch.
After lunch it's nap time.

After nap time, Jenny and Tedy do art, play outside, or run errands.

Nathan comes home for dinner and he and Tedy
have special reading time until it's bath time.

After bath, Jenny and Tedy read a book,
say prayers, and cuddle before bed.

Family Traditions: Weekly, and Annual

One of our favorite things about being parents
is the ability to create special memories with our family.
Here are some of the traditions we have:

On Thursdays we go to our local library for Story Time.

Fridays are Nathan's days off and we call it our "Family Day"
We celebrate with homemade Pizza for dinner each Friday.

Tedy looks forward to Nathan's stovetop popcorn every Sunday evening.

During Christmastime we make sugar cookies together to give to our neighbors.

Every July 4th we celebrate with Nathan's
whole extended family at the family cabin on a lake in Maine.

Tedy loves going to the Pumpkin Patch with Jenny's Parents each fall.
